Here is a lovely PRS McCarty from the first year of production - 1994!

Get into the head of Paul and Ted to experience the next iteration of their design adventure - expanding on the greatness of both gentlemen. This guitar has all the unique hallmarks of the era - "McCarty Model" on the back of the headstock, single dot side marker at the 12th fret, thicker body and deeper headstock tilt with non locking tuners.

The lovely warm burst finish has lots of nice striping details to get lost in and the rear finish allows for the mahogany grain to be seen. The back of the neck is clean and smooth, as is the top of the body. The upper horn of the headstock as a chip and so does the lower horn of the guitar with some subtle play wear scratches but nothing disastrous (all as shown.) Plays fast and low with incredible tone in all positions. Frets are narrow and tall with lots of life left, no dents or heavy play wear. The instrument weighs 8.4 lbs.

Pickups have been upgraded to 57/08 and have a new PRS wiring harness with pull tone pot, 3 way switch and jack. This guitar also has a new PRS adjustable stoptail bridge with intonation adjustments for finer tuning. The original non-adjustable bridge will also be included along with a set of amber lamp shade knobs.
